The tears of a star fell upon my brow,
I felt the rhythm of the Universe enter my heart.
The power of love with every beat,
Like a firefly you danced before me.
Confusing my eyes, hypnotizing my mind,
For a fleeting moment I was free.
River of stars, tangled like our dreams,
And the Willow weeps as it knows what it means.
Under your spell I fell, never to return,
We danced to the tune of the Peacock Moon.
Together we stood where it had all begun.
Together we stood, yet we stood as one.
Keeper of the shadows,
Warrior of the storm,
The Enchanter has owned my heart
Since the day I was born.

Mind Grove Groove
I'm moving through the twilight grove of my mind
Where fruits of knowledge hang from a vine.
Each fruit sweeter than the one before
Where I am mindswept to the Silver Shore.
I talk with Varuna keeper of the sea
Easing the waves of doubt, I am free.
Moving through the murky ruins of time
I pick one more fruit from the golden vine
I'm moving through the twilight grove of my mind
Where fruits of knowledge hang from a vine.
Taking in every golden drop of the sun
I stand exactly where it all begun.

Beltane In Blue
Like a blue floral ocean,
Gentle bloom you softly motion
Your sweet harmonious tone
No need to fear for I am home
By silent pools of one so fair
With Beltane wishes in your hair
So close to the tree this apple did fall
The spell of summer I hear you call
I stand and gaze at your beauty in blue
In the woodland glade of sparkling dew,
Such a wonderous sight for this heart to see,
You have given me wings and now I am free.

Twin Souls
Twin souls sharing
As memories unfold
Like the twisted metal
Of alchemists gold
In bodies so young
With minds so old
If I said I love you
Would that be too bold.

Red Is the Poppy (RIP)
The poppy I will wear with pride
To remember all those who died
Who gave their lives so we could be free
So this is the least I can do for thee.

The Darkest Day
The shadowling feasted upon the darkness,
Sweet Silverwing mourn not for me
The night devours my wholeness
But the starcloud will set me free.
Let your tears melt in the sunlight
Burn fragrant sage leaves for me
And offer your smiles to the sunchild
For behind her eyes I will be.

The Faery Ball
Beneath a mystical moon the fair folk swoon
But the golden rays of the morning appeared too soon.
Bedazzled and frazzled I crawled from my den
And perched on a toadstool with my parchment and pen.
The beloved one, Piyra, the elf from the South
Kneeled beside me, prose dripping from his mouth.
He poured me another cup of dandelion tea
And a slice of honey bread made lovingly for me.
Whilst sitting in the shade sipping from a chalice of jade,
The witch of the stars gently beckoned to me.
I bid my farewells and left Piyra some spells
And then star glided home to my willow tree.

To a Lady, With a Guitar by Percy Bysshe Shelley (My favourite poem)
Ariel to Miranda Take
This slave of music, for the sake
Of him who is the slave of thee;
And teach it all the harmony
In which thou canst, and only thou,
Make the delighted spirit glow,
Till joy denies itself again
And, too intense, is turned to pain.
For by permission and command
Of thine own Prince Ferdinand,
Poor Ariel sends this silent token
Of more than ever can be spoken;
Your guardian spirit, Ariel, who
From life to life must still pursue
Your happiness, for thus alone
Can Ariel ever find his own.
From Prospero's enchanted cell,
As the mighty verses tell,
To the throne of Naples he
Lit you o'er the trackless sea,
Flitting on, your prow before,
Like a living meteor.
When you die, the silent Moon
In her interlunar swoon
Is not sadder in her cell
Than deserted Ariel.
When you live again on earth,
Like an unseen Star of birth
Ariel guides you o'er the sea
Of life from your nativity.
Many changes have been run
Since Ferdinand and you begun
Your course of love, and Ariel still
Has tracked your steps and served your will.
Now in humbler, happier lot,
This is all remembered not;
And now, alas! the poor sprite is
Imprisoned for some fault of his
In a body like a grave -
From you he only dares to crave,
For his service and his sorrow,
A smile today, a song tomorrow.
The artist who this idol wrought
To echo all harmonious thought,
Felled a tree, while on the steep
The woods were in their winter sleep,
Rocked in that repose divine
On the wind-swept Apennine;
And dreaming, some of Autumn past,
And some of Spring approaching fast,
And some of April buds and showers,
And some of songs in July bowers,
And all of love; and so this tree, -
O that such our death may be! -
Died in sleep, and felt no pain,
To live in happier form again:
From which, beneath Heaven's fairest star,
The artist wrought this loved Guitar;
And taught it justly to reply
To all who question skilfully
In language gentle as thine own;
Whispering in enamoured tone
Sweet oracles of woods and dells,
And summer winds in sylvan cells;
- For it had learnt all harmonies
Of the plains and of the skies,
Of the forests and the mountains,
And the many-voiced fountains;
The clearest echoes of the hills,
The softest notes of falling rills,
The melodies of birds and bees,
The murmuring of summer seas,
And pattering rain, and breathing dew,
And airs of evening; and it knew
That seldom-heard mysterious sound
Which, driven on its diurnal round,
As it floats through boundless day,
Our world enkindles on its way:
- All this it knows, but will not tell
To those who cannot question well
The Spirit that inhabits it;
It talks according to the wit
Of its companions; and no more
Is heard than has been felt before
By those who tempt it to betray
These secrets of an elder day.
But, sweetly as its answers will
Flatter hands of perfect skill,
It keeps its highest holiest tone
For one beloved Friend alone
This slave of music, for the sake
Of him who is the slave of thee;
And teach it all the harmony
In which thou canst, and only thou,
Make the delighted spirit glow,
Till joy denies itself again
And, too intense, is turned to pain.

Cosmic Child
See the bird fly so high
See the sunset in the sky
See the moon shine so bright
Lighting up the darkest night
Look towards the distant star
Watching us from afar
Make a wish in the dark
Hold on to your dreams
Never give up.
I am the cosmic child
I am free and I am wild
I can travel beyond the sun
And talk with the golden ones
Feel the earth beneath my feet
Dancing in the summers heat
Feel the joy of being young
With my face towards the sun
Spread my feet in a silver stream
And sink into a magical dream
Of unicorns and dragons that fly
A wake with a tear in my eye.
I am the cosmic child
I am free and I am wild
I can tavel beyond the sun
And talk with the golden ones.

King Of The Deep
White swan against azure sky
Looked like a gleam within the eye
Of a great white whale
With happiness in his tail
Looking down on ancient shores
One could only watch with awe
As magnificent white horses
Ride the tide by his side
King of the deep a giant of the ocean
His tail can signal every emotion
For surviving is hard
With the ways of man
If only we would change
He knows that we can.

Elemental Love
From the broken hearted
The fire slowly dies
From the ashes
A phoenix will rise
Nature brings beauty
With every dawn
Tears melt in the sun
And a rainbow is born
See the true colours
Of our love grow
Cherish its beauty
Never let go
See our true colours
So vivid, so clear
Never let love disappear
Deep in my heart
A firebird will rise
Keeping our rainbow
Forever in the skies
Bird of fire
So beautiful and bold
Mythical creature
From days of old
Rise from the ashes
As pure as the dove
The eternal one emerges
Bringing elemental love
Carry our colours
Into the sky
As a new age is dawning
For you and I.

Free Spirit
Take my hands off the wheel of life
And let fate try and steer it
When a word cuts me like a knife
I pretend not to hear it
If death looked me in the eyes
I'd be brave and never fear it
For I've been through this and survived
Forever a free spirit.

30th September
On this day an angel was born
He wrote songs of magic
And sang of the unicorn
He lived his life fast
As he knew he couldn't stay long
But left his loving spirit in every song
And wherever he walked
The sun shone like an arc
We will never forget you
Our beautiful Marc.

Orchid Fields
In fields full of orchids my true love lies
A gift from the stars the cosmic eyes
Just like a small child so easily lead
In fields full of orchids I lightly tread
In the summer rain spread you wings again
All golden and gleaming in sweet refrain
Your face like an angel with eyes of jade
Together we'll love in the willows shade
When the Silver moon dances through the trees
And elven song can be heard on the breeze
And diamond stars shine from above
In fields full of Orchids I fell in love.

My Life For A Stage
My name is just a masquerade
For a penny you can buy my stage
I'll watch you act the same as me
I watch you make mistakes like me.
And as we move to another scene
You can play the part I played in a dream
In this dream I saw a friend in danger
But could not help, for he was a stranger.
I'll show you my friend as the curtains rise
So many different people behind these eyes.
I'll show you my friend the role you must play
So trust in me I want you to stay.

Fountains Of Time
Blue is the colour of heaven,
White the palace of the sun
Where diamonds shine
In the fountains of time
Yet time waits for no-one.
White is the lilly flower
That floats in the pools of my mind
Where a child with the strangest of powers
Awaits the fate of mankind.

Astral Journey
Like a tear that's never cried
Or a dream thats never died
I tread the veils of the sun
To where you and I begun.
Searching behind your cloak of stars
And the steamy Ballrooms of Mars
I search the whole universe to find
That you were with me all the time.

Past Lives
It seems that once upon a dream
As a dove danced on the sunbeams
I fought with warriors brave and bold
And wore a crown of purest gold.
Bloody battles won and lost,
That fateful day my life it cost
As a blazing arrow pierced my chest
And where I fell was laid to rest.
My golden crown stolen by the foe,
My lifeless body entombed below.
But still I heard my warriors cries
As I dove danced above the skies.
So many lives I've lived since then
But still I long for my warrior men
Who faught so fearlessly and died so brave,
For me, their king they tried to save.

Star Child
At the gates of dawn on the dew kissed lawn
Kneeled the astral child and his unicorn
Keepers of the gate but 'twas too late
As the rainbow warrior sealed their fate
Like a ball you shine as I kiss the skies
At the gates of dawn nothing ever dies
In pain and peace be well he said
As the world then melted in my head.

Changeless Angel
Orphaned at birth
The misplaced youth
Child of the elements
Searching for truth
Walking the roads
That Gods would fear
Changeless Angel
I know you're near.

You're the reason
I wear stars in my hair
You are the one
Who gave life to me
And for this I will
Thankyou eternally.

Hides the truth
Within it's shade
Temper my loneliness
In these dark hours
Soon I'll break free

Soft wings of the Dove
Chase the pain away
Mend my broken heart
As I worship the new day
Tender kisses melt
Into the leafy blue
Loneliness I felt,
Like a ghost
Without you.

The Elvin Lord lie broken
Just like the dawn
Where to bring a small token
They gathered to mourn
Beneath the cold looming shadows
Of a sycamore tree
They hang rhymes and sweet chimes
That call softly to thee.

Storm Dance
The spiders of the evil hour
Are coming in the flood
They scream in anguish,
They drink the wizards blood
Mad Loom beneath the cresent moon
She's dancing in the lightening
But the spell was cast way to soon
And what I saw was frightening.
